Stanley Mitchell was a huge fan of Eminem, often writing him numerous letters detailing his experiences with depression, suicide attempts, and issues maintaining a positive relationship with his pregnant girlfriend.
Death and Aftermath Edit
Around 6 months after writing his last letters to Eminem, Stan catches his girlfriend in the basement, where she discovered multiple photos where she had been replaced with Eminem. Stan tied her up, put her in the trunk of his car, and drove to a bridge, where he promptly drove over the side of the bridge, into a lake below. At the scene, officers recovered a cassette tape that Stan had recorded for Eminem. The tape contained the last words anyone would ever hear Stan say. It is presumed that Stan died instantly, while his girlfriend suffocated to death in the trunk before help could arrive..
After his funeral, his mother and his little brother, Matthew Mitchell, are seen standing in front of his grave, where it is revealed that Matthew has dyed his hair blonde.
Once Eminem finally received Stan's letters, he responded, sending Matthew an authographed Denver Broncos hat, and telling Stan to treat his girlfriend better. Right before he mails it, the news report detailing Stan's death airs, and Stan's reflection is seen on Eminem's window.
